About Venus G2 Custom-Designed Decanter
FAQ
1.Does it work without Venus G2?
Yes, as a regular glass decanter. Chilling to 4°C requires Venus G2.
2.Does the custom-designed decanter chill drinks faster than a standard one?
Yes. Used with Venus G2, the decanter cuts cooling time by about 46% compared with chilling in a Bordeaux-style bottle — less time waiting, more time enjoying.
3.Will a full bottle fit?
Yes. With a capacity of about 1,000 ml, it fits a standard 750 ml bottle with room to spare.
4.What can I serve in the decanter?
It's made for drinks best served below 8°C — Champagne and sparkling wine, crisp whites and rosé, chilled sake and cold-brew tea. It's equally at home with reds and rich whites; just set your preferred temperature on Venus G2.
5.Is it dishwasher safe?
We recommend washing it by hand. If you use a dishwasher, choose the glassware programme with a low temperature and a short cycle, and turn off heated drying.
Daily care:
* Wash the decanter soon after use. If you cannot wash it right away, rinse it with clean water and fill it with warm water to soak.
* Wash gently with a mild, unscented dish soap and a soft sponge. Then rinse well with clean water.
* Do not switch between hot and cold water. Sudden temperature changes may crack the glass.
* Let it air dry, or wipe it with a lint-free cloth.
* Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or high-temperature steam.
